A package deal? Maybe all it takes is a Kentucky offer for his AAU teammate

5 star Louis King, a small forward who is teammates with Kentucky target Cameron Reddish wants a Kentucky offer.

He just so happens to be on Team USA U-19 after making the list cut from 27 to 18. He looks to impress John Calipari so much that he will receive a Kentucky offer.

“Coach Cal has seen a lot in what I did the past three days,” King said, according to Kyle Tucker at SEC Country, read the full story here.

“I wanted to come here and make the team, show that Coach Cal can coach me, that I’m able to listen and do what he wants me to do. I’ve been talking to him a lot lately. He just tells me to rebound the ball and show my length on the defensive end.”

Kansas, Syracuse, Oregon, Connecticut, North Carolina State, Maryland and Seton Hall are currently recruiting him the hardest, but he said he remains interested in Kentucky.

AAU teammate, Cameron Reddish, already has what Louis King wants, an offer from John Calipari. They are playing together in the Team USA camp and seem to like the idea of being teammates once again in college.

“If Coach Cal gives me an offer,” King said, “Me and Cam might be able to go to Kentucky.”

Kentucky seemingly hasn’t had (an out in the open) package deal since the Harrison Twins who came from the same womb and doesn’t really count. Of course this years group of guys are all pretty close friends but none were a “package deal.”

I like the idea of two guys teaming up that already personally know each other on and off the court. Sounds intriguing.
