Kentucky Men’s Basketball will play two instate schools this season.

Thomas More will venture to Rupp on Oct. 27. Kentucky has never played them before. So no history can be noted.

Centre will come in on Nov. 3. Kentucky owns the record of 25-19 against the Colonels but they haven’t met since February of 1929, UK winning 47-11.

Centre left a special mark in UK basketball history, as the owners of the largest win over Kentucky. In January of 1910, Centre, then known as Central University, defeated UK 87-17. Wow. Of course none of the same players are on the two teams today. It was also Cawood Ledford’s (Kentucky radio legend) college choice.

Both games will be played in Rupp.

Kentucky will tip off the season with Big Blue Madness on Oct. 13 and Blue-White game one week later on Oct. 20th.
