Darius Garland recently got an offer from Kentucky and today he named his final six schools. Kentucky is one of the six, along with….. Duke, Kansas, Indiana, Vanderbilt and UCLA.
Garland was in recent talks of being a package deal with Cameron Reddish. Of course that’s only talk and we really don’t know what to believe at this point. Reddish had said previously that they would like to play together.
John Calipari has been after Immanuel Quickely, who is the second ranked point guard in the class. But we all know Cal can play with more than one guard or even two on the floor at a time and he does pretty well with it actually.
According to Adam Zagoria he plans to take visits to all six schools, but a few want to be first.
Garland plans to take five official visits later this summer and and fall “but we don’t have any official dates yet.”
“Duke, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Kansas, they all want to be first,” he said of his visits. “I don’t know yet, we’re still deciding.
I think John Calipari would want to go last in the visit catergory anyways.
Here’s a little bit of what he did today.
