Former Football Cat Kicks off the NFL Season Thursday

This weekend thankfully kicks off football season.

Before Morten Andersen, Terrell Davis, Kenny Easley, Jerry Jones, Jason Taylor, LaDainian Tomlinson and Kurt Warner will be officially inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, the Hall of Fame game will feature the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals. BBN does have rooting interest in this game because former Wildcat Corey Peters will be playing in this season starting exhibition. Last year Peters came off an Achilles injury that forced him to miss the entire 2015 season. He played well but didn’t bounce back fully. Hopefully this year Peters can get back to his pre-injury numbers. In 2013, Peters had his best season tallying 46 tackles and 5 sacks. In March of 2015 Corey signed a three year deal with the Cardinals for $9 million. With this being a contract year I believe he will be striving to show the Cardinals and the NFL as a whole what he is really worth.
