Zion Williamson has set the dates for his official visits, including his visit to Lexington on the weekend of September 23rd, including an in-home visit from Coach Calipari this Wednesday. That visit had previously been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. The Cats again will get the first official visit from a top recruit, like they also did with R.J. Barrett. Kentucky is expected to host Keldon Johnson and Immanuel Quickley this weekend, which could be a good sign for Kentucky. It has been rumored that they could be a package deal. Williamson shot that down a little in August though.
“We’re not a package deal,” said Zion. “We have definitely talked about playing together in college and I want to play with him, but it’s gotta be an individual decision.”
It’s still a possibility, and Quickley is expected to make a decision soon after his visit, and it’s almost a guarantee he commits to the Cats. And Kentucky getting this visit first could go a long way for his Adidas circuit teammate.
