After CBS put Kentucky as one of the worst teams in the SEC heading in to the 2017 season, they may have gotten some of the BBN’s love back after they ranked them 17th in this week’s power rankings. Many national media outlets have been taking notice of the Cats after their dominating win at South Carolina. Some noticeable teams that the Cats surpassed in the rankings are Auburn, Virginia Tech, and Kansas State. Kentucky had the fourth highest ranking in the SEC behind Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi State. Here’s what they had to say about Kentucky.

17. Kentucky

“Quite honestly, we’re tired of it,” Mark Stoops said after a 10-point win at South Carolina. Tired of the lack of attention? Win more. This marks the Wildcats’ first 3-0 start since 2010.”

As Kentucky heads in to its huge matchup against Florida, the Cats will be looking to improve on that ranking. This game feels like it will be specail and if Kentucky wins, It will be the biggest victory in the Mark Stoops era! The game is nearing a sellout and I expect the atmosphere to be crazy! You can get your tickets at but you better hurry they’re aren’t much left! The game will also be on the SEC Network at 7:30 pm.
