UK Men’s golf has a record setting performance

The UK men’s golf team tee’d off today at the Bearcat Invitational at the Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Wildcats find themselves in the lead after 36 holes out of the 54 hole event. The Wildcats shot a record breaking -15 under par today during the second round of the tournament, which is the lowest recorded score during the Brian Craig era.

The Wildcats was lead by Senior Chip McDaniel from Manchester, Kentucky who shot -9 under through his first two rounds of play and is only one shot off the lead for the individual crown. Kentucky holds the lead at -21 under going into the final round with Arkansas four strokes back at -17 under and Ohio State is in 3rd at -14 under par.

Kentucky will continue play at 9:35 a.m. eastern time off the number one tee on Tuesday morning. With this four stroke advantage, the Wildcats will be seeking their second consecutive team title after winning the season’s opening event at the Wolf Run Country Club in Indiana earlier this month.
