You ever wondered what it would be like if you could mix and match players from different Kentucky eras? What if Dan Issel played with John Wall? What if Jack Givens played with Karl-Anthony Towns? Just imagine the possibilities.

Now when I first started to make this list I thought I would have trouble with coming up with enough players for tiers. But when you’ve had dozens of All-Americans, eight national titles, and the most victories of all time, its safe to say that you’ve had some talent come through those doors. I soon found that my biggest task with this would be trying to narrow the list of players.

Now I have taken fifty players from across all Kentucky eras in which you can mix and match players for your lineup. I have tried to not take too many players from any one era or too few for that matter.

I’ve put these players into five different tiers. Each worth a dollar value. Now you may ask what the requirements are to be in a certain tier. Well, I have taken into account their talent, accomplishments, accolades, moments, and how long they stayed. So I understand that Anthony Davis may have only stayed one year, but its impossible not to have him in the top tier. I also understand that Aaron Harrison is not a top fifty player to ever play here, but those shots hit during March for that 2014 run it was hard for me to leave him out.

When making your team, remember that you’re making a TEAM. Sometimes just having the best talent doesn’t always win. Try to remember all aspects of the game, you need shooters, you need rebounding, you need defense, and most importantly you need team chemistry. But this is your team, so if you wanna pick a team of all shooters or all lock down defenders, feel free to do so. Also remember that you don’t need to spend all $1500, but you cannot go over.

Now remember, there has been hundreds of players to play for Kentucky so if there is anyone that I’m leaving out or if you think a certain player should be higher or lower please feel free to comment and let us know.
