James Wiseman and his #1 ranked Memphis East team played on ESPN2 tonight up against the #13 Webster Groves and he put on a show! Wiseman is ranked as the #1 junior in the country by most recruiting sites and it was easy to see why. His potential is sky high and he changes the game so much on the defensive end. His offense is still a bit raw but you can see he has the tools to be special. He did a little bit of everything in his teams blowout win. His team has plenty of D1 talent and were the best team on the court from the tip.

Just at the half Wiseman had 7 points 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. He wasted no time adding to the stat line out the gates in the second half, at the end of the third quarter alone he had his point total up to 21 points while adding his rebound total to 9. Memphis East took care of Webster Grove easily in a 80-45 victory.

Many consider Wiseman a UK lean with his 247 Crystal Ball with 11 predictions all picking UK. As you can imagine James has his pick of just about any school he wants at the college level. Wiseman is coached by NBA great Penny Hardaway at Memphis East. Wiseman is listed at 6’11 210 lbs. Rumors spread James would be reclassifying to the 2018 class but he quickly shut them down saying he will remain in the 2019 class. Wiseman has a UK offer tweet pinned to his twitter and has said Anthony Davis is his favorite player, take that how you want but they can’t be bad signs. Which ever class he decides to be in BBN would love to have him.
