University of Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops has been a busy man since the heartbreaking Music City Bowl in December. In addition to convincing Josh Allen, Denzil Ware, Mike Edwards and Jordan Jones to return for their senior seasons, Stoops and his staff have been extending offers in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes.
With Christopher Oats a likely Ohio State commit and Xavier Peters visiting the big Florida schools (Florida, FSU, Miami), Stoops has been looking for other options to fill the class of 2018. 2018 Offensive tackle Nick Lewis (6-8, 350), from Jacksonville, Florida, will visit UK this weekend. Darin Hinshaw was in Tampa, Florida and saw 2018 RB Andrew Cunningham (6-1, 215) on Thursday and extended an offer.
Paintsville, Kentucky’s 2020 LB Jaylyn Allen (6-1, 220) will also visit this weekend, which should be a great environment to be in, with ESPN’s College Gameday on campus.
In the classes of 2019 and 2020, Kentucky has been very busy. They have offered a lot of recruits lately, including:
2019 DE Raymond Cutts (6-3, 215), Orlando FL
2019 DE Latrell Jean (6-2, 235), Lakeland FL
2019 OLB KD McDaniel (6-2, 222), Tifton GA
2019 WR Elijah Bowick (6-1, 185), Charlotte NC
2019 WR Zay Flowers (5-10, 150), Ft. Lauderdale FL
2020 ATH Cameron Martinez (5-11, 175), Hollywood FL
2020 OT Joseph Habinowski (6-4, 260), Lakeland FL
With all of these offers, the 2019 and 2020 classes are shaping up to be some of the best in Coach Stoops tenure.
