University of Kentucky football is well represented on the US National Football Team. Class of 2018 signees OL Quintin Wilson, TE Brendan Bates and OL Darian Kinnard are key contributors on the U19 National Team that will be competing against Canada and Mexico on Friday.
UK recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow tweeted about it earlier today:
One interesting note is that the tweet from the US National Team lists Brendan Bates as a wide receiver, instead of a tight end. Bates was recruited to UK as a tight end, but may be able to play some wide receiver, much like Travis Kelce (an Eddie Gran disciple) and Delanie Walker do in the NFL.
