Well tonight was an eventful night. Not all good, but it didn’t end bad. The Cats showed tonight that they were far from being ready for the tournament, but they also showed that they will fight until the last buzzer has sounded.

The Cats never showed throughout the game to be superior, and whenever they would get up they would allow Vandy to get right back into it.

In this game we only shot 5% up from the last matchup from deep, and we were down almost 10% overall from the floor at all. All of our shooting woes cost us separating ourself from Vandy. That and the absolute inability to defend.

So what happened at the end of the game? Well, Shai was leading the way tonight with what ended up to be 30.

Then we managed to take the game into overtime, in overtime it came down to the wire again, this then led to Quade Green making a crazy go ahead lay up with 2 seconds left on the clock.

This game was not pretty, nothing about it was pretty. The only positive thing to take away from this is that there is a W in the schedule column. But when the night ends like this…its hard to be upset. They seem to be having fun.
