UK Hockey drops semi-final game to 2nd seed Arkansas

Last night, at the Ford Ice Center in Nashville, the Wildcats dropped a tough game to second seeded Arkansas in the SECHC Championship Tournament. Arkansas jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one, with UK fighting to play catch up the rest of the game. The Cats would drop this one 7-2. The Wildcats are now 20-8-1-1 (7-1 SECHC) on the season and ranked 24th in the ACHA Southeast.  A great turnaround this year and still one game to go.

Kentucky will play Georgia in the 3rd place game today at noon/11 am Central.  Good luck to the team, as they look to take the Dawgs down for a second time this season. You can follow the action on the team’s Twitter page @Kentucky_hockey.
