On Friday, we updated you on the latest in Keontra Smith’s recruitment. If you didn’t read our update from last week, you can check it out here: (https://ukfansallday.com/2018/02/16/football-2019-commit-picking-up-big-offers/). More has happened since that post, as Smith continues to get national attention. This includes an offer from Penn State and Smith’s praise for Miami (FL).
Penn State is just one of many college football powerhouses who have offered Smith up to this point. Alabama, Michigan, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, and Nebraska are others who are interested in landing a commitment from the 11th best safety in the 2019 class. Here’s Smith’s reaction to receiving the offer via Twitter:
While the Penn State offer should worry the BBN in terms of his recruitment, Miami is the school to worry about the most. Smith recently went on record of saying that Miami was his “dream school” and a “game-changer”. Many now also believe they will be in his top three with Kentucky and one of the powerhouses mentioned above. This has resulted in two crystal ball predictions being given to “The U”, even though he is still a Kentucky Wildcat commit. Mark Richt and his staff already took one of Kentucky’s top rated recruits once. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.
