Over the past two years, Kentucky has become a school known for having solid offensive lines. Kentucky’s 2018 class may be the most impressive O-Line class in the Mark Stoops era with signees like Darian Kinnard, Nick Lewis, Kenneth Horsey, and Marquan McCall (expected to play on the D-Line). As we look ahead to the 2019 class, you can never have enough depth on the O-Line. Here’s the O-Line prospects you can expect Kentucky to be in contention for:
Bryan Hudson (OG)
Bryan Hudson is rated as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports. The Georgetown, Kentucky product holds offers from powerhouses like Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, Tennessee, Penn State, and Ohio State. 247 Sports currently has Hudson’s interest for Kentucky as “cool”. While this may be worrisome, we all know to never give up on our staff as they’ve pulled some surprises in recent history.
Tanner Bowles (OT)
Tanner Bowles is rated as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports. Bowles is another Kentucky product out of Glasgow. He currently holds offers from powerhouses like Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Tennessee. Bowles interested for Kentucky is listed as “warm” by 247 Sports. This is great news for the Cats because the rest of the teams who’ve offered scholarships to Bowles are listed as “cool” when it comes to the interest meter.
Jamari Williams (OG)
Jamari Williams is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports. Williams is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is ranked as the 142nd best player in the state. Williams doesn’t have any “powerhouse” offers but some offers of note are Louisville, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, and UCF. In terms of interest, 247 Sports lists Kentucky as the only “warmer” followed by Louisville, N.C. State, and Georgia State with “warm”.
Zeke Correll (OG)
Zeke Correll is rated as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports. The Cincinnati native is rated as the 6th best player in the state of Ohio. Correll currently holds powerhouse offers from Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, and Wisconsin. Correll’s interest in Kentucky is listed as “warm” by 247 Sports. We all know Vince Marrow’s involvement in Ohio recruiting should give BBN hope that the Cats have a shot to reel him in.
Kyle Jornigan (OT)
Kyle Jornigan is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports. He’s from a high school BBN should know a lot about by now, Cardinal Moody in Youngstown, Ohio. Notable offers for Jornigan are Purdue and Cincinnati. Jornigan’s interest in Kentucky is listed as “warm” by 247 Sports. The other “warm” schools are Purdue and Ohio. Mark Stoops has had a lot of success in his hometown of Youngstown. Will he continue that success?
