Kentucky vs Davidson Halftime report

The first half against the Davidson Wildcats in the first round of the 2018 NCAA tournament is in the books and it’s playing out kind of like everyone thought it would as Kentucky leads 34-24. Kentucky’s size, speed, and overall talent is showing to be hard for Davidson to handle thus far. It also helps to have such a contribution from PJ Washington with 11 points!

Speaking of contributions, Hamidou Diallo is also having himself a decent showing and is also showing a little bounce in his step as he had 4 points and 3 huge blocks in the first half of play. Kevin Knox also has 9 points on 4-7 shooting from the field.

This was a good first half from the Wildcats but there is 20 more minutes to play and don’t be surprised if Davidson goes on a little run if they get a few shots to fall at the beginning of the second half. If the Cats play like they did in the first half then they should be able to put this one away fairly easily! Go Cats!
