Tuesday spring practice update

Spring game week for Kentucky is here and the Cats are getting ready! While it is not nearly as exciting as facing a different team, it is great to see the team back inside Kroger Field. The team has been hard at work all spring and looks to bring a good product to the field Friday night. The Cats took the practice field today preparing for the game and getting better. Here are some newsworthy notes from today’s practice.

DeAndre Square continues to turn heads

Square is a guy who has been talked about some during spring practice. Recently, that conversation has picked up and has been a surprise this spring. He once again received praise from the coaching staff and may perform his way into some reps this fall. I’m really excited to see Square on Friday, as he was one of my five players to watch out for in the spring game. You can read that article with the link below:


Week 4 ATDP teams

The weekly “ATDP” teams were announced for this week of practice. The “A” stands for attitude, the “T” stands for toughness, the “D” stands for discipline, and the “P” stands for pride. Here are the teams for offense and defense:

T-Darius West

D-Josh Paschal

The Wilson to Bowden connection could be scary

Lynn Bowden has been a standout during spring practice. Not only does he have the speed and agility, Bowden has improved his catching skills. The video below is only seven seconds, but it is a flash of what we could see this season! Take a look:
