Earlier today Coach John Calipari took to Twitter to let the Big Blue Nation know that he hadn’t time to look at the Rice Commission’s recommended changes to NCAA basketball.

But within the tweet, we learned that the head coach is in the hospital for a “minor surgery”. Although he didn’t go into to detail on what the surgery was, he left us with the impression that it was nothing serious.

He also stated that he probably will miss some recruiting this weekend. But with recent commitments from 5 Star recruits Ashton Hagans and EJ Montgomery, you deserve a break big guy. Get some rest, Big Blue Nation is praying for a speedy recovery.
