After zero Wildcats got drafted in the 2018 draft, some of our Cats are getting NFL opportunities. We notified you of Jeff Badet, Garrett Johnson and Courtney Love’s futures last night. Today we found out that two more Wildcats are getting a shot in the NFL.

Austin MacGinnis announced that he will be attending the Bears rookie mini camp. He will be joining teammate Garrett Johnson on the Bears roster. MacGinnis is Kentucky’s all-time leader in points and is looked at as the greatest Kentucky kicker of all-time. We all know he can be clutch, as he hit game-winning kicks against Mississippi State and Louisville in the 2016 season.

Charles Walker will be attending the Lions rookie mini camp. The former walk-on earned a scholarship at Kentucky and has been a fan favorite for years. He impressed at Kentucky’s pro day, which led him to this opportunity. Detroit will definitely earn some fans from Kentucky if Charles ends up making the roster.
