In a series that many thought would be a sweep, the Pelicans showed tonight that they aren’t gonna go down without a fight.

After a not so impressive start during the first two games. The Pelicans found themselves down 0-2 in the series, after the first two games were in Oakland. But now with the games in New Orleans, the Pelicans are using home court advantage to its full effect.

The Pelicans came up big against the defending NBA champs, lead by their superstar Anthony Davis. Davis had himself a huge game behind 33 points and a monstrous 18 rebounds. Davis made an impact on almost every aspect of the game tonight, it will be very interesting to see if he can sustain this impact going forward in the series.

The Pelicans also had a huge game from their veteran point guard and former Wildcat, Rajon Rondo. Rondo had 4 points, 21 assist….. yes you read that right, 21 assist, and 10 rebounds.

With his 21 assist game, Rajon Rondo joins elite company with HOF point guards John Stockton and Magic Johnson as the only points guards in NBA history to have multiple 20 assist playoff games. (per Basketball Reference)

Now the only question is, can the Pelicans find the same success in Game 4 and turn this series around? Tune in to ABC @ 3:30 PM (ET) to find out and to cheer on our former Cats.
