CMU running back talks smack about Benny Snell

As if there wasn’t enough motivation for Kentucky RB, Benny Snell, to show out against Central Michigan, a star running back for Central Michigan University, Jonathan Ward, had some disrespect for Snell’s game today. The CMU player was asked by a media member about Benny Snell and about how good he was and here’s what he had to say ” I don’t even know him, I don’t think there’s nothing too special about him…”.

With all that being said, Jonathan Ward’s a pretty decent player himself, putting up 1,017 rushing yards, 470 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns last season, he more than likely should know about Benny Snell, who ended the regular season last year leading the SEC in rushing yards (1,318), carries (256), and rushing touchdowns (18).

Central Michigan Head Coach, John Bonamego, has certainly heard of Benny Snell, calling him one of the best players that they will face. Ward continued to bash Kentucky’s defense as well so I would love to see what Josh Allen, Mike Edwards, and Jordan Jones has to say about that. Jordan Jones is definitely not a player you want to poke at before a game because he will come to prove a point, period.
