After a big momentum win on Sunday afternoon in extremely sloppy conditions over Furman, the Kentucky Wildcats will now turn its attention to Southeastern Conference play as UK travels west to face the Missouri Tigers in the conference opener on Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET.
The match will be televised live on the SEC Network and ESPN app with Trey Bender and former United States Women’s National Team goalkeeper Jill Loyden on the call. Todd Kulis produces.
UK is 4-4-0 on the season with all four wins coming in the second half or overtime this season. The Wildcats are one of the youngest teams in the country, as there have been at least eight freshman and sophomores in the starting lineup for every match this season.
Missouri is off to a 2-4-1 start on the season against a brutal non-conference schedule. The Tigers are coming off their second win of the season against Gonzaga in a 2-0 result Sunday.
