Halftime: Kentucky leads Murray State 17-3

As expected by some, there has been a post Florida hangover. Thankfully, the opponent the Cats are facing allow for a little hangover to occur as there is a huge gap in talent. Kentucky got it going early with a 91-yard drive that resulted in a 42-yard touchdown run for Terry Wilson. The offense has sputtered out a bit since then, but they got another touchdown on their last drive with a strong run from Benny Snell.

At the end of the second quarter, it looked like Murray might make this an interesting game as they were inside the 10 and could’ve taken some shots at a touchdown. Then, they were called for a false start. Murray opted to take the 10 second runoff and take three points instead of seven. There’s still a lot of game to go, so Kentucky needs to get their act together and stomp and their throat.
