Postgame: Kentucky starts off slow; gets it going in the second half

Your Kentucky Wildcats are now 3-0! Kentucky didn’t waste anytime getting on the scoreboard early with an opening drive touchdown by Terry Wilson. The Kentucky offense would dry out a bit after that as the Cats would only take a 17-3 lead into halftime. In the second half Kentucky pulled away outscoring the Racers 31-7.

Next up for the Cats is Mississippi State in Lexington. The Bulldogs should handle Louisiana Lafayette tonight meaning next week’s meeting at Kroger Field will be a battle of the undefeated’s. If the Cats can pull off the upset, they will be ranked and will have opened the door to compete with Georgia in the east. Getting the win today was important and now BBN can focus on one of Kentucky’s most difficult games next week.
