Merecdes-Benz Collegiate Championship and MSU Greenbrier Invitational Day 2

.@fairyleo_ is headed to the back nine, which she dominated yesterday with seven birdies over two rounds. Time to make a move!

Wow, does @fairyleo_ love this back nine. Birdie-eagle-birdie to take a two-stroke lead!!! Incredible.

Meanwhile in Lexington, Rikke Svejgård Nielsen appears to be in firm control of the MSU Greenbrier Invitational.

Leo just birdied No. 1 and is now at 6-under par for the round. Remember, she set the tournament record last year with a 65. She may beat that this year.

What’s @fairyleo_ do after a bogey on the second hole? Follow it with a birdie on the third to get back to 6-under par for the day. Not only does she have the championship in her sights, the tournament record — which she set last year — is in jeopardy.

Rikke Svejgård Nielsen posts a score of 1-under par at her first college tournament, the MSU Greenbrier Invitational. Just waiting on confirmation that she’s won the title.

It’s official: In her first college tournament, Rikke Svejgård Nielsen runs away from the competition at the MSU Greenbrier Invitational and wins the individual championship!!!

And now it’s official in Knoxville as well. @fairyleo_ comes from two shots behind and wins going away at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship!!! She was spectacular Tuesday, shooting a 65 to tie the tournament record she set a year ago. She finished at 5-under overall.
