Former Wildcat PG Tyler Ulis to sign with Golden State Warriors

The news was announced on Saturday morning that Tyler Ulis, former 34th pick of the Phoenix Suns, had signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Golden State Warriors as a free agent. The contract is designed to allow the Warriors to utilize Ulis as they need him, but also allows him to get more minutes at the G-League level. Ulis was cut by the Suns on June 30th of this year, much to the chagrin of former Wildcats teammate, Devin Booker. However, Ulis is joining former Wildcat and newly signed Warrior DeMarcus Cousins. This news has Ulis and Cousins looking like the first Wildcats of the Coach Cal era to be primed to win an NBA Championship. Phoenix Suns v Portland Trail Blazers
