The No. 16 Kentucky volleyball team will be back in action on Wednesday looking to extend its seven-match win streak when it hosts Southeastern Conference foe Tennessee at 8 p.m. ET inside Memorial Coliseum in the first leg of its week seven match-ups.
Wednesday’s match with the Volunteers will be broadcast on SEC Network with Courtney Lyle and Jenny Hazelwood on the call.

UK leads the all-time series against Tennessee 50-30, is 15-9 against the Volunteers under Craig Skinner and 9-1 since 2012. The Wildcats have swept UT in every meeting but two since September of 2012. UK defeated UT 3-1 in Knoxville earlier in its first conference match earlier this season.

Tennessee enters the match 14-4 overall, 5-1 in the SEC and has won its last four matches – all at home – with two five-set victories over Missouri and Arkansas, a 3-1 win over Alabama, and a sweep of Mississippi State. Two Volunteers rank in the top 10 in hitting percentage in the league as Erica Treiber notches second behind UK’s Brooke Morgan at .409, while Addisyn Row comes in at sixth at .335. Tessa Grubbs leads the UT attack with 3.75 kills per set, which ranks sixth in the SEC.

UK Students attending Wednesday’s match will have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in prizes that will be raffled off during the match. As part of UK Student Fandemonium, prizes such as Beats headphones, Yeti products, Big Blue Madness tickets and much more will be raffled off at each timeout.
