Last night the Orlando Magic showed NBA fans what Kentucky fans already knew. Isaiah Briscoe is no slouch. Briscoe played 10 minutes and scored a point per minute. As he faced off against fellow Wildcats Malik Monk and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Isaiah totaled 10 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. Like the title says, this was Briscoe’s NBA debut as he only had played in the NBA Summer League and preseason action in 2017 before going to Estonia and playing for BC Kalev. After making the Estonia/Latvia All-Star Game and scoring 50 points, he was named the All-Star game MVP. Now, Briscoe will be coming off the bench and trying to make an impact for a young team in Orlando. He is currently in the rotation as DJ Augustin’s back-up at point guard. Congratulations Isaiah and keep showing everyone what you got!
