Pro Football Focus has been a great way for the great college players to be recognized by talented scouts and that information translated to the public. Week after week we’ve seen our top stars getting honored by PFF and this week is no different as Josh Allen gets named one of two top edge rushers in the nation!
He is one of 4 SEC players in this group of 11. Allen ended Saturday night’s game with a strip sack and was slow to get up after the play. Allen explained that it was his back that got injured and it seemed to be bothering him late in the 4th quarter before he went down as I saw him reaching for the lower back area before the snaps. Either way he will be ready to play against Missouri next week.
