Danny Trevathan played from 2008-2011 for Rich Brooks and Joker Phillips and totaled 374 total tackles, 6 sacks, 4 interceptions, and 11 forced fumbles during his time at Kentucky. He led the SEC in 2010 with 144 tackles and earned 1st team All-SEC honors. In 2011 he led the SEC again with 143 tackles and was selected to the 2nd team All-SEC team. He is currently tied for 2nd for forced fumbles in a career in the SEC with Tyrann Mathieu with 11, by the way, Josh Allen has 9 so far and is in 4th on that list. He was drafted 188th overall in the 2011 draft by the Denver Broncos and went to two Super Bowls and won one. In the 2016 free agency period Trevathan was signed by the Bears for 4 years and $28 million with $12 million guaranteed and a $5 million bonus. Now, the Bears are showing Trevathan a lot of respect by making sure his Grandma that has battled cancer gets to see him play at Solider Field. Love seeing things like this!!
