Sec East title is on the line, huge implications, yes that’s right. Saturday will be playing in one of the biggest games in modern day history, as they take on the Georgia bulldogs. Kentucky coming in as a 9.5 point underdog has a lot to prove to the doubters and prognosticators this weekend. Georgia (7-1, 5-1) is ranked #6, while Kentucky (7-1, 5-1) is ranked #9 in the playoffs rankings in what should be one of the most anticipated games of the year. Kentucky with one the nation’s best defense against one of the nation’s best offenses, can the Cats take advantage of this opportunity and give the fans one of the biggest wins in Kentucky football history, only time will tell.
Josh Allen is the SEC leader in sacks this year with 10 and tackles for loss with 15. He also has a chance to tie the SEC All-Time forced fumbles leader Marquis Haynes from Ole Miss (2013-2017) with one more, I think he’ll break this record before the year is up.
Last week we had a lot of talk about our QB position, I think we can put that talk to bed now. After Terry Touchdown’s game-winning pass to CJ Conrad, I believe most of BBN believes he is our guy. I think Stoops will still play Gunnar in some situations just to give Terry a rest and it seems to refocus him.
Benny Snell needs 65 yards to become the first player at Kentucky to have three 1,000 yard rushing seasons. He has already taken over the lead from Randall Cobb for most total touchdowns in Kentucky history and I believe he’ll add this one to his resume before the final horn sounds on Saturday.
