Houston…. you have a problem! Kentucky survives late night game to advance to Elite 8

Kentucky got the redemption from last year’s tournament when Kansas State knocked them out.  It was a close one starting out when Houston led for most of the 1st half but Kentucky took the lead and held it at 37-26 at the half. Kentucky started the 2nd half and Houston would catch up, take the lead and were up by 58-57 when Tyler Herro would hit a 3 to send them to the Elite 8, Kentucky won 62-58. Also PJ Washington made his NCAA debut after not playing the two first games.  We play Auburn Sunday at 2:20 p.m. ET on CBS.

I just want to say how much it means that these boys are doing their best to keep us alive. I will say that the last few minutes I was about to count my boys out but they kept fighting and won the game so we can go and win #9. Sunday is gonna be a battle but most of our games have been that we just have to be better than Auburn so we keep going.

Go Big Blue!
