Mike Edwards Shines in OTAs in Tampa Bay

Buccaneers staff writer Carmen Vitali was impressed yesterday with former Kentucky safety Mike Edwards during the Offseason Team Activities. She writes, ” I feel like I probably shouldn’t be surprised anymore, but rookie safety Mike Edwards made a great read and jumped in front of an underneath route to nab himself an interception on the first field today. He was drafted for how smart of a player he is and he’s showing that very early on during his first couple of weeks with the team.”

I’m excited for all of our Cats in the NFL and it looks like the Bucs will lean on Edwards at the safety position.
