Mark Stoops has successfully turned Kentucky into a top destination for recruits throughout his seven years as head coach and late last night he got one of the best transfer players in football history. Kelvin Joseph played 11 games for LSU last year as a backup and recorded 12 tackles and one pass deflection. In his initial recruitment that eventually landed him in Baton Rouge, Joseph was a 4 star prospect with offers from LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Clemson, and others.
His teams that he was considering transferring to were outlined in his tweet above. Beating out teams like Florida, Auburn, and Mississippi State is crazy but it is happening! He will sit out this year and have three years of eligibility left.
