Last night the NFL Preseason concluded and 4 Wildcats got their name in the box scores. The big stand out to me was CJ Conrad his production catching the ball and great blocking could land him on the final roster. Benny Snell struggled to run the ball again and has never got going as far as yards per carry go. Where he has stood out is in short yardage situations and the passing game. We will have to see how the Steelers choose to use him going forward but it looks the Jaylen Samuels may stay in the #2 spot at running back.

Now comes the cuts. Today we will see a lot of action and may have some Wildcats relegated to the practice squads of their current teams or out of a job completely. The important thing to remember is the fact that the XFL Draft is in October and we already have one Wildcat that is expected to see the field in Vince McMahon’s reincarnated football league, Austin MacGinnis. MacGinnis played for the now defunct AAF and succeeded pretty well. I think we will see some other Wildcats getting invites and hearing their name called in October.
