NFL Regular Season kicks off tonight!!!! We have two great linebackers to watch in the first game of the season on a big stage. Za’darius Smith and the Packers will go to Soldier Field to face the Bears and Danny Trevathan. The big game on Sunday is the night game primetime matchup between Benny Snell and Damien Harris. Neither back will see the field in big roles but these two have a correlation that goes back to their recruitment and commitments to their college teams. Snell is the single player in the NFL that I’m most interested in, Josh Allen should be really good and maybe he’ll pass Benny in this area but for now, GIVE ME BENNY!!!!! Monday Night Football will feature a Wildcat on each team as the Texans travel to the Superdome to take on the Saints. Larry Warford is probably the most forgotten NFL Cat since his name doesn’t show up in box scores (we really need to get O-line stats to be more mainstream). He is a veteran for the Saints and usually is very effective. Lonnie Johnson will probably not see a big role on Monday but you never know. We all know what he is capable of as he started his last 18 games for Kentucky and shutdown the receivers he went against. I’m ready to get this thing going and I’ll update everyone with our Cats Stats on Tuesday!
