Terry Wilson is out for the year with a torn Patellar Tendon.
Now Kentucky will turn to Sawyer Smith to lead the team. He looked good in my opinion on Saturday night and has had a lot of success at Troy last year. He took over for Kaleb Barker after the QB went down with an injury early on in the season.
I don’t expect much of a change to the offense due to Smith’s mobility. He has also shown that he can throw the ball well. With our big targets in the receiving and tight end positions, I believe Smith will fare well in our offense. Next Saturday will be a huge test as he sees his first full game as the quarterback with Kentucky and it just so happens to be one of the biggest games on our schedule.
Let’s get behind Sawyer and wish Terry a speedy recovery!
