12 Kentucky vs. Indiana: Bluegrass Battle

Kentucky looks finish the Bluegrass Battle against Indiana on a good note with a 3- after defeating both Cleveland State and FGCU yesterday. Kentucky starts the game on a defensive start with a pair of kills from Cooper, Meyer and Stumler. Kentucky leads 6-3. Kentucky holds Indiana to a -.267 hitting average with 4.5 blocks in the match. Kentucky now leads 12-6. Kentucky holds Indiana to -.121, has 5.5 blocks and takes the first set, 25-16.Kentucky gets things started in the second set on a 4-0 run with 13-9 lead. Indiana takes the lead over Kentucky 18-15 winning the last eight of ten points. Indiana takes the second set, 25-22. Wildcats start the third with a 14-9 lead, extend it to 20-9 winning the last 16 of 19 points. Cats take the third set, 25-12. Indiana takes a 13-7 in the fourth and takes the set 25-20. We go to the fifth set for the first time this season.  Indiana wins the fifth set 15-11.

Kentucky is back in action Wednesday night against Purdue  at 7 PM ET on the SEC Network
