Kentucky starts the third set on a 5-0 run and 9-7. Wildcats go on their longest unanswered scoring run at 9-0 and still lead the Boilmakers 13-7. Leah Edmond records a new season high of 20 assists in a match and it’s her twenty-fifth time in her career with 20+ kills in a match. Kentucky takes the third 25-19, and is up 2-1 against the Boilmakers. Purdue starts the fourth on an 8-0 run leading Kentucky 10-5. Kentucky is back into the set with four straight attack errors only down by 2. Kentucky takes the lead after climbing back 18-16. Purdue takes the fourth 25-22. Purdue dominates the fifth set over Kentucky winning 15-8 taking a win over the Wildcats in Memorial Coliseum.
