Tonight kicks off the action for the Wildcats in the NFL. Wesley Woodyard and the Titans take on Josh Allen and the Jags. It’s a passing of the torch in some sense. Wesley Woodyard is nearing the end of his career as he is in his 12th year and the production has decreased a bit this year as he is playing behind 2nd year Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans. Josh Allen has started both games in his rookie career and increased his tackle total from 2 in his first game to 4 in last weeks game. That game is the only game with a Wildcat on both sidelines this week. Mike Edwards will be starting against Daniel Jones who will be starting his first game of his career after the Giants announced on Tuesday that Eli Manning was going to be benched for Jones. I look for Edwards to produce good numbers in this match up. The biggest game in terms of exposure will showcase Danny Trevathan in the Bears/Redskins Monday Night Football game. Trevathan was our Defensive MVP last week and I expect his numbers to remain at the great level it has been most of his career.
