Tyler Herro shined in his preseason NBA debut on October 8th against the San Antonio Spurs. Herro had 18 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in the Heats 107-89 win over the Spurs. With Herro’s outstanding performance the previous night he started in the game against the Charlotte Hornets, although a start in the game Herro only put out 8 points along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal in a 108-94 victory. Herro started in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks where he had 14 points in only 5 minutes, 12 of which were 3 pointers. He ends up with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in Miami’s 120-87 win which brings them to 3-0 in the preseason. Miami has two more preseason games on the 17th and 18th taking on Orlando and Houston before the season starts on the 23rd.
