This was a great week for our Wildcat Football players! Not only did we win against Arkansas but our guys in the NFL did great! The big story was Benny Snell leading the Steelers in rushing in his first game with meaningful carries. It’s a great start for the rookie running back but we all know that it’s just the tip of the iceberg! His 75 yards on 17 carries puts him on track to be the second most productive rookie running back behind Josh Jacobs. Wesley Woodyard showed that he shouldn’t be considered on the downhill portion of his career just yet. Woodyard had the only sack in the game for the Titans and both of the only tackles for loss. Corey Peters, Za’Darius Smith, and Josh Allen all had pretty good games too. Overall, a great weekend for Kentucky football fans.
Offensive MVP – Benny Snell – With Jaylen Samuels out for a while, expect Benny to continue growing in his backup role
Defensive MVP – Wesley Woodyard – The forever captain had a great game after Jayon Brown went down with a groin injury
