Kentucky traveled to take on Florida on the road before heading back home to host Texas A&M.
Florida gets on the board first as has a 2-0 lead until Jaida Roper gets Kentucky on the board tying it up. Kentucky hits a 3 to take the lead but Florida takes it back. Sabrina Haines with a 3 and the Cats have a 10-6 lead. Kentucky has a one point lead after one quarter, 13-12.
Florida starts the second quarter with a basket and goes to the line getting the free throw. Kentucky takes the lead, 16-15 but Florida hits a 3 to be up by 2. Florida with a 21-20 lead but Chasity Patterson hits back to back 3’s for Kentucky for the Wildcats to go into the half with a 28-23 lead.
Florida scores first and Kentucky goes on a run once Rhyne Howard heats up and they have a 32-25 lead. Kentucky ends the third with a 42-34 lead.
Kentucky starts the fourth quarter with a 3 from Amanda Paschal. Wildcats go on a 5-0 lead to have 47-34 lead, Gators down by 14. Florida finally scores in the fourth but Rhyne Howard answers right back, 49-36. It is back and forth between these two teams but Kentucky still has the lead 51-38. Kentucky is up by 18 with a 59-41 lead under 4 minutes to go. Kentucky defeats Florida 65-45 to move to 14-2 overall and 3-1 in SEC.
