Kentucky blows past Ole Miss on road for a 42 point win

Kentucky only has four games left in the season including this one against Ole Miss on the road. They are coming off a 73-62 win over Mississippi State where Rhyne Howard hit the 1,000 point club.

Ole Miss with an early 7-0 lead over Kentucky to start the first quarter. Kentucky gets on the board with free throws made by Jaida Roper, 7-2. Blair Green with a 3 pointer for the Cats, to cut the lead to just two, 7-5. Ole Miss responds with a 3 of their own. Chasity Patterson with a 3 for Kentucky and she ties up the game at 10-10. Rhyne Howard with a jumper and Kentucky takes the lead, Ogechi Anyagaligbo adds two more and so does Rhyne Howard again for the Cats to have a 16-10 lead. Kentucky goes on a 13-0 run to have an 18-10 lead after one quarter.

 Sabrina Haines starts the quarter for the Cats, but Ole Miss responds, 20-12. Kentucky is up to a 27-16 lead over Ole Miss.  Kentucky is up to an 18 point lead and will go into the break with a 36-18 lead.

Sabrina Haines with a 3 to start the third quarter for Kentucky, they have gone on a 10-2 run as Ole Miss has only gotten two free throws. Kentucky now leads 53-23 after Ole Miss got a 3, Kentucky responds with one of their own. Kentucky has their largest lead of the game of 30 with a 61-31 lead in the third. Kentucky will have a 67-37 lead after three.

Rhyne Howard starts the fourth with a jumper, Kentucky fouls and Ole Miss goes to the line only getting one free throw. Rhyne Howard with another jumper for Kentucky. Kentucky makes both free throws and a jumper by Tatyana Wyatt. Kentucky now has a 75-38 lead. Wildcats extend their advantage with a 35 point lead now. Back to back three pointers for the Cats make it a 41 point lead, 88-47. Kentucky gets the victory with a final score of 94-52.

Kentucky hosts South Carolina this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2 in their Play4Kay game.
