Kentucky sweeps Appalachian State in 15 innings

Kentucky looks to sweep Appalachian State but it’s going to be a battle as Appalachian State is the first ones on the board, they score 3 in the third and add another in the fourth to have a 4-0 lead. Austin Schultz with a Big Blue Bomb to get Kentucky on the board.  Kentucky scores two more.  Trae Harmon with a two run Big Blue Bomb and we are tied up at 5- in the fifth. Kentucky scores in the seventh to take the lead, 6-5. Kentucky with a SAC fly to score a run, 7-6. The Mountaineers tie up at 7-7. After 5 extra innings without a score, Kentucky scores a run in the bottom of the 15th inning  Oraj Anu walks scoring in Matt Golda for Kentucky to win 8-7. Kentucky sweeps Appalachian State 3-0.

Kentucky hosts Tennessee Tech at Kentucky Proud Park on Tuesday.
