2020 MLB Draft recap

The 2020 MLB Draft was done virtually sue to COVID-19 and instead of being 40 rounds it was trimmed to just 5 rounds with a few compensation rounds in 1 and 2. The first round, saw no Kentucky players being drafted, followed by the 2-4th rounds as well. Kentucky has gone without any picks in the draft this year.

Kentucky did not have any current players drafted but they had a signee get drafted in the 5th round and 153rd pick by the Washington Nationals, Mitchell Parker.

Current player Carson Coleman signed with the New York Yankees with a free agent deal
