Kentucky vs. Buffalo 2018 NCAA Tournament Second Round

Kentucky took on Buffalo in the 2018 NCAA Tournament: Second Round on March 17, 2018.

Buffalo with the first points of the game, Shai Gilgeous Alexander with the first points for Kentucky to tie the game up, 2-2. Kentucky takes the lead over Buffalo with almost 3 minutes of play, 8-4. Cats up by 7 but Buffalo responds, 14-9.Halfway through Kentucky leads 24-16 after Buffalo hits a 3 pointer. Wenyen Gabriel makes both free throws to make it 37-27. Kentucky leads 51-42 at the half.

Cats on a 4-0 run to start the second half, Buff at the line making one of two, 55-43. Buffalo not too far behind now as they get within 4, but Kentucky seems to always have an answer and the lead, 63-58. Once again, not too far behind the Cats, but they are up by 10. Kentucky still maintains their lead as there is less than 3 minutes to go in the second half, 89-73. Kentucky defeats Buffalo  95-75  to advance to the next round.
