After defeating Indiana in the Sweet Sixteen game, Kentucky looks to take on Baylor in the Elite Eight in the 2012 NCAA Tournament in Atlanta, GA.

Terrance to the line for two after a foul, he makes just one of two. Baylor takes the lead, 7-5; they get a 3 pointer to add to their lead, Cats with their biggest deficit of the tournament, 10-5. Kentucky with a basket, Marquis Teague with a 3 pointer to tie us all up, Anthony Davis with a basket and the Cats take the lead back, Kyle Wiltjer with a 3 pointer, 15-10. Baylor is scoreless in the last 5 minutes, while Kentucky has gone on a 12-0 run, 17-10 lead. Back to back baskets for the Cats as they now have a 21-10 advantage. Baylor finally ends their scoring drought after a 16-2 Kentucky run. Quincy Acy for Baylor with a basket, then a free throw to make it a 3 point play, Kentucky answers 23-13. Cats lead 25-15 halfway through the half. Kentucky has made their last 10 shots, Baylor missing their last 11 of 13 shots, and now has their largest deficit of the tournament, 30-15. Bears finally with a basket, Kentucky answers with a basket of their own, 32-17. Kentucky leads Baylor 42-22 at halftime.
Kentucky with the first points of the second half, Baylor answers. Kentucky with two free throws after AD goes down and he makes them both, Baylor right behind them with another basket. Baylor goes to the line for two making both, Lamb goes to the line and he makes both. Kentucky with a 3 pointer, Bears with a basket, Cats leading 51-30. Baylor with a 3 pointer, Kentucky with a basket, and Baylor with back to back baskets. Midway through the half, Kentucky still leading 61-45 over Baylor. Kentucky maintains their lead over Baylor even though the Bears try to chip away at the Cats lead several times but to no avail. Kentucky defeats Baylor 82-70 advancing to the Final Four game facing Louisville in New Orleans.
