The start of the season has kicked off and the Wildcats started off great. They started on defense and forced a punt. Whenever they got the ball on offense they drove down the field and Smoke finished it off with a 35 yard touchdown run. Auburn came back and used a trick play to convert a 2-point conversion to go up 8-7. In the final drive of the half Kentucky worked methodically down the field using some strong runs and a big post pattern catch by Dailey to get Kentucky in the redzone. Chris Rodriguez pushed the ball into the endzone but the refs stole that touchdown from the Wildcats and it ends up with Terry Wilson throwing a pick-six which was called back with a targeting call and Auburn ends the half up 8-7. Terry has looked good but seems to not be seeing the whole field right now.
