Anthony Davis and LeBron James and the Lakers dominated in the second quarter after being down 13 to comeback and defeat Miami 116-98 and take the first game. It’s just the first game and Miami still have a chance in this series despite being down two players after losing Goran Dragic with a foot injury after the half and Bam Adebayo with a shoulder sprain in the third quarter.
A report came out after the game, Goran Dragic has a torn plantar fascia in his left foot but has not been ruled out for the Finals as of right now, he will be re-evaluated later this week. We will see how things play out for the Heat. Whether or not they lose Dragic for the remainder of the Finals, who is going to take his place in the starting lineup, and what the status is of Bam Adebayo.
Will the Heat be able to stay in this series or will the Lakers dominate with the injured Heat?
Game 2 in this Friday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
